Westpac has repeatedly shown that they do not want to support apple pay. This has left many of Westpac's customers wanting more. Westpac claims that they are embracing new technology however they are refusing to embrace apple pay. We want to change that. Lets send Westpac a message. We want apple pay support.

The rollout comes after Westpac’s major competitors, Commonwealth Bank and NAB, adopted Apple Pay earlier this year. Smaller banks such as Suncorp and ING also use the payment service. Apple Pay works with many of the major credit, debit, and prepaid cards from the top banks and card issuers. Westpac also announced Apple Pay is available from today for customers at its smaller banks – St.George, BankSA and Bank of Melbourne – provided they have an eligible Visa debit or Feb 27, 2019 Westpac’s eftpos provision. While it becomes the last of Australia’s big four to introduce Apple Pay, the ‘red and white’ bank has left rivals CBA and NAB in the dust by switching on the iOS wallet for cards running over eftpos rails.
